Invicta Dogs: Training & Behaviour

Hollie has always worked with dogs- starting out in her teens as a young handler at Crufts (having bred and showed Weimeraners- a type of gundog). However her training career started in the Zoo world, where she was a Zoo Animal Trainer, and one of the first in the UK to become accredited with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council.

Hollie started up her own business (Kent Animal Training Services) in 2022 whilst still working at the zoo and is fully qualified and accredited with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). Perfect puppy, easy peasy puppy squeasy, animal assisted therapy, canine body language, canine aggression and rehabilitation are just some of the CPD courses Hollie has under her belt, and she is continuously adding to this. She also has experience in the training and rehabilitation of rescue dogs as well as teaching fun dog sports such as Agility, scentwork and fun gundog. Her next step will be getting her level 5 or 6 to qualify as a canine behaviourist.

Ultimately, Hollie is also a dog owner herself, with a 7 year old Rottweiler called Darwin, who is scent dog and gun dog trainer (dont judge the breed by its cover ). Hollie is excited to be apart of the Therapy Dogs Trusted Trainer network, to bring the magic of dogs to those who really need it most!
