Hello, I’m Imogen and I became a professional dog trainer in 2017 after experiencing firsthand the efficacy of reward based dog training methods when I attended a Puppy School UK course with my own puppy. I went on to set my business up in canine care and coaching and became a certified dog trainer for Puppy School UK in 2018. I offer a variety of puppy and adult dog training services and am delighted to also now offer therapy dog training and temperament assessments for Therapy Dog Training UK in and around the Walton-on-Thames area, in Surrey.

I have several dog training accreditations and am a certified Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC). I am also a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT, no.01514) and a certified scentwork trainer for UK Sniffer Dogs (UKSD). I am fully insured, canine first aid trained and passionately adhere to the ethical frameworks of the training councils with whom I am accredited.

In addition to my dog training work, I am also a qualified Mindfulness Practitioner and have a Level 3 in Counselling Skills & Studies. My own dog Albert is currently training to become a registered TDTUK therapy dog so he can assist me in my work as a wellbeing practitioner, this means that I am able to appreciate the TDTUK therapy dog training process from my clients’ side too.

Training with Lady & the Hound is relaxed, rewarding, kind and fun. I offer private therapy dog training as well as family friendly group classes across Surrey and SW London and cover all KT and TW postcodes.
