Jayne Lockey

I have been privileged to have been able to volunteer with animals for over a decade, giving me invaluable experience in handling a variety of cats and dogs. I decided to progress my love for animals by immersing myself in a formal education to the highest level as well as learning first-hand from some of the world’s leading dog behaviourists and trainers to help train dogs in rescue and of course, my own dogs.

Being a qualified instructor with the APDT, backed by a Master’s Degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare, my aim now is to help people with all aspects of training their dog, from puppy start-right and teaching the basics to managing problem behaviour or simply advice for a new rescue – all with the common goal of nurturing the human-dog relationship. 

Working with Therapy Dog Training UK I am really excited to go even further to be able to help the dogs that help their people – a truly special gift that can benefit all involved.

I use gentle, rewards-based and humane training methods offering 1-2-1 support and guidance. I look forward to helping you progress your journey with your furry best friend.
