Puppy potential Dog Training Essex
My name is Rachel Sadler and I have been working with dogs for over 28 years and training puppies for the last 11years. I have run my training business for the last 2 years. I have worked in Veterinary practice for many years and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have worked in referral, general and out of hours emergency clinics. I have also worked in further education and I am an assessor, verifier and examiner in Veterinary Nursing and Animal Care.
I have done lots of training with the Institute of Modern Dog trainers, 2 day dog trainer and 4 day instructor course and I hold a level 3 certificate in Learning, Motivation and Reinforcement that is OCN accredited. I am also accredited with them. I have also done lots of CPD with them from aggression, separation anxiety, resource guarding, puppy training and body language courses.
I have also done lots of training and CPD with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and I have completed their advanced dog training Instructors course. I am also an Accredited APDT member and I have ATI status. I have also worked in canine rehabilitation, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. I use force and fear free methods and believe in the mental well being of dogs as well as their caregivers.
I love to watch people grow with their dogs and build a bond that’s built on trust, love and compassion. I have worked with all breeds of dogs from Cane Corso’s, Irish wolfhounds to Pomeranians, chihuahuas and all in between. I teach puppies from 9 weeks of age to geriatric dogs. I help reactive, nervous, adolescent dogs, dogs that are resource guarders, or have separation anxiety or frustration etc. I teach obedience, life skills, agility, scent training, gun dog skills, fun Rally and Hoopers. I am looking to become a mentor now for other dog trainers. I have been a dog owner for 32 years and even trained my first dog with positive reinforcement techniques all those years ago as I believe passionately about this.
I am accredited and qualified with both the APDT and IMDT. I am a member of the Pet Professional Network and the Dog Trainer School. I am dog first aid trained, fully insured and DBS checked. I look forward to working with you and your dog!
