She is also a qualified secondary school teacher and has been teaching English in London schools for nearly 30 years.
As both a teacher and and a dog trainer, Sarah is uniquely placed to offer you knowledgeable, expert and effective training, assessment, support and guidance on your  journey towards certifying your dog with ‘Therapy Dog Training’ , with particular understanding of the training requirements for dogs in schools.
Sarah shares her home with three Affenpinschers (small terrier like dogs) one of whom is a certified Therapy Dog who brings much joy on his visits to elder care settings. He is very proud of his purple jacket!
In her spare time,  Sarah volunteers for the animal rescue service, Drone to Home, as a call handler. Owners who have lost their dog and want to know what they should do appreciate Sarah’s calm, kind, clear and helpful advice on the end of a phone line, in the most upsetting and stressful of situations.
Sarah works with dogs and their guardians throughout London, providing positive, kind and effective training in group classes as well as bespoke 1-1 sessions. Group courses are held in Battersea. Individual sessions are offered in SE or SW postcodes
